Resend invitations automatically
It is sometimes necessary to remind customers they have been invited to SMARTLINK/ICONS. Close and consistent follow-up is key in onboarding new users but also hard to scale if done manually. To help you in this process, SMARTLINK/ICONS will now resend invitations automatically reminding customers to register. The system will send emails according to an automated sequence. A first reminder is sent after seven days without action, a second reminder 14 days later, the final reminder after 35 days. This message also informs the customer that the account will be deleted if there is still no action.
NOTE | Users that were invited before today will also receive these reminders by mail. This means a significant volume of emails will be sent to users in the upcoming days. |
Automated mails for trial licenses and new trial report
Close and consistent follow-up is also important when customers activate a trial. First, as a service provider, you should know when customers activate a trial. Second, it is important to discuss with customers how they have experienced the trial once it's finished. To make this easier, SMARTLINK/ICONS will send an email to service providers whenever a trial has been activated and when it ends. At the same time, customers will receive an automated mail when their trial has ended. This mail has a report attached focused on either uptime or energy - depending on the type of customer.
Site marker
When analyzing progress in your operations, you need to take into account certain improvements and milestones. For example, after fixing an air leak, you should see your energy efficiency improve. However, it is difficult to benchmark the situation now against the period before this change if you can't flag it on the graph. In order to make this analysis easier, the new version enables you to add flags to a graph to mark a moment of change. This should make it more clear to see how a curve changes because of the improvement. The site marker can be used in KPI graphs and the service overview.
Permission to create Global Customers
The possibility to create a Global Customer has been coded as a role-permission. Previously, this was a hardcoded feature that could only be used by global admin. To make organization maintenance easier, we have changed this feature to a role-permission that we can adjust from the UI. For now, this permission is added to the scope of users with the role Internal Admin CC.
