Reworked notification groups
In addition to Notification Groups – which are manually configured for teams, sites, or specific groups of machines – all users with a ustomer role, will now have Personal Notification settings.
The Personal Notification Settings can be found under a new tab under the Customer’s “My Settings” menu item, and can be manually maintained, or they can simply use the default configuration.
These Personal Notification settings allow to simply turn on/off notifications that have been preconfigured in the system. One can choose the category of notifications they wish to receive (machine events and recommendations) and the way they receive it (by email, SMS, push or a combination of the above). In order to receive push notifications, they will have to download the SMARTLINK mobile app.
Adjusting Personal Notification settings is quick and easy and will only affect the customer user’s individual account. For now, only the Smart Recommendations will be enabled via the Personal Notification settings.
The Notification Groups remain the recommended solution for users with more advanced needs.
