What is the Commissioning Flow Status overview?
In our old platform, machines had to be registered manually. This requires quite some effort. Therefore, we developed an automated commissioning flow to automate this process. So, instead of checking different kinds of information and submitting this into the system by hand, the commissioning flow does it for you. In the Commissioning Flow Status overview, you can see the status of each stage (i.e., flow) in this process.
There are four stages or flows. In each flow, the system checks and retrieves available information about a machine. This information is needed to register the machine automatically. The entire flow is triggered every time a machine reboots and connects with the system.
First flow: COMMISSIONINGSC | The system gets Service Connect (SC) data such as the machine's model and type |
Second flow: COMMISSIONINGSAP | The system gets data from SAP (COPS system). When the system fails to retrieve this data, it is called an ERP Data Conflict. Automatically registering a machine is in that case not possible. Manual registration is required |
Third flow: COMMISSIONINGPARAMS | The system retrieves data about the energy parameters. This is the type of information needed to draft energy reports |
Fourth Flow: COMMISSIONINGLICENCES | The system retrieves the correct license. |
Status flags
After each flow is completed, you can see one of three statuses:
OK | The flow was run successfully |
NOK | Either means that the flow has not run yet or that it will run again (upon reboot). It is therefore still pending |
NA (Not Available) | The flow has run, but it failed. It will not run again upon reboot. Every time the commissioning flow runs again, this one will be skipped. |
What can you do?
You can 'rerun' or 'reset and rerun' the flow. Rerunning the flow means that only the flows that are NOK will be run. Reset and rerun means that all the flows will be reset to NOK whereafter the system runs all the flows again. You can find these actions by clicking on the three dots of the machine and flow you wish to rerun.
