When adding a machine, sometimes you get this error message. It means that the serial number is duplicated. As a result, the system does not know which one of the duplicates should be added to the site. As an admin, you can solve this problem by going to the UNASSIGNED MAINTENANCE OVERVIEW. Provided that you know which one of the duplicates is the correct machine to be added, you can choose among the duplicated serial numbers.

ASSIGN A MACHINE FROM THE UNASSIGNED MAINTENANCE OVERVIEW
Step 1
If you wish to assign a machine that has not been assigned yet, go to OVERVIEWS > UNASSIGNED MAINTENANCE in the menu on your left.
Step 2
Use the search field to find your unassigned machine.
Step 3
Select the correct machine and click on ASSIGN DEVICE.
Step 4
Select the right site where you want to locate the machine and click on SELECT to finish. The machine will be automatically moved into that site.
