How to verify your SMARTBOX replacement

Step 1: Verify the successful replacement in SMARTLINK (BackOffice, not on-site)

 

NOTEBe aware that the SMARTBOX 4G communication technology (LPWA) can take up to 90 minutes to find the first network. There is no need to wait on site until successful connection is established. If all above steps are properly followed the connection will succeed.

 

NOTE
Make sure that the old replaced SMARTBOX is not re-used or even powered on within these 8 days period.

 

Step 2: Check Replacements in Tools – SMARTBOX replacement

Search the IMEI or the machine serial number. If the machine cannot be found, verify that the unit serial number is correct.

Example of Failed to Review status: modifications were made to the controller and the machine model during the SMARTBOX exchange. SMARTLINK automatic replacement functionality does not function as intended. 

 

 

To correct the issue, you need to review the replacement manually by clicking on actionscheck failure

Accept to complete the replacement or disregard to dismiss the process:

State is pending: SMARTLINK is waiting to receive some data from the new SMARTBOX to make sure that the old SMARTBOX is offline. This can take up to 8 days.
